Casting director Mukesh Chhabra, in a recent interview, talked about celebs attending funerals. Mukesh said that many actors in the industry attend funerals just to make contacts. Mukesh told that he has felt sad many times after seeing this desperation of the actors.

The casting of 'Gangs of Wasseypur', released in 2012, was done by Mukesh Chhabra. The casting of this film was highly praised.

Never leave an opportunity under any condition
In a conversation with Nilesh Mishra, Mukesh said- 'So many people are interested in becoming an actor, that they do not leave the opportunity under any condition.

I will give you an example. A senior actor passed away. Many actors were present at his funeral. Don't know why I'm telling you this, but some people attend funerals just to make contacts. I don't understand this desire of actors.

Mukesh started his career as an assistant casting director with the film 'Rang De Basanti' in 2006.

Didn't take training, are approaching directly
Mukesh further said, 'If you have learned this craft. If you are working hard, I respect that. You have not taken any training and you are trying to talk to me directly, that too in such a situation. This is very strange.

Mukesh said that he does not understand such behavior of people on such occasions. He has advised many struggling actors not to talk about work at least during the funeral.

Mukesh made his directorial debut with 'Dil Bechara' released in 2016.

In his career, Mukesh has done casting direction in many hit films like 'Gangs of Wasseypur', 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and 'Jawaan'. Apart from this, he was the director of Sushant Singh Rajput's last film 'Dil Bechara'.
