This incident is of 31st May 2018. At 4 pm Gippy Grewal received a voice and text message on his WhatsApp from an unknown number. In this message he was given a number. He was asked to talk to gangster Dilpreet Singh Baba on this number.

It was written in it that this message has been sent to demand ransom. You should talk, otherwise your condition will become like that of Parmish Verma and Chamkila. After this, Gippy Grewal complained about it to Mohali Police.

Mohali police had registered a case on the complaint of Gippy Grewal. Now Gippy Grewal is being called for testimony, but he is not appearing in the court. At the time when he received this threat, he was out of Punjab for the promotion of his movie 'Carry On Jatta 2'.

That's why a warrant was issued

A warrant was first issued against Gippy Grewal by the Mohali District Court on July 4. He was also ordered to appear in court on July 10. But the bailiff in the court told that Gippy is not in Punjab at the moment.
