Actor-comedian Atul Parchure dies at the age of 57: Had cancer, acted in many films including Golmaal-Partner and Kapil Sharma Show

Actor-comedian Atul Parchure passed away on Monday evening. He was 57 years old. He had cancer. However, the reason for his death is not clear yet.

Marathi actor Jaywant Wadkar informed about his demise on Monday evening. Talking to a news channel, he said that Atul was to work in the Marathi drama 'Suryachi Pillai'.

For this, he was rehearsing with him, meanwhile his health deteriorated. Jaywant told that Atul was admitted to the hospital five days ago.

Parchure had worked in many films in Bollywood including Golmaal, Partner, Kyunki and Awarapan. He also appeared in Kapil Sharma's show.

Apart from this, he made a splash with his acting on Marathi stages. Atul also worked in Marathi films and many TV serials.

After giving information about cancer, Atul shared this photo of himself with former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar on social media. In this he looked very thin and weak.

Cancer occurred in 2022 Atul was battling cancer since 2022. He had told in an interview last year- 'In the year 2022, I went to Australia and New Zealand on a family vacation. After returning from there, my health deteriorated. I was not even able to eat anything properly. Then after getting checked, I came to know that I have cancer.

5 cm cancerous tumor found in liver Atul had further told- 'After this, when the doctor did my ultra sonography, I saw fear in his eyes. I immediately knew something was wrong. I was told that there was a 5 cm long tumor in my liver which was cancerous (initially I got myself treated wrongly. During the treatment, instead of getting better, my health got worse. It became difficult for me to even walk).

Had to wait for one and a half month in such condition In such a condition, the doctors asked me to wait for one and a half months. The doctors said that if they did surgery now, I would get jaundice and my liver would be filled with water. After this I might not be able to survive. Later I changed doctors. Improved himself through proper medication and chemotherapy. Now in the coming few days I will know how good my condition is.

Kapil's team had contacted In this interview, Atul had also told that during this time Kapil's team had also contacted him. The makers wanted him to play the role of Sumona's father in the show but he was not able to do much work due to his health condition.

Have played comic roles in many films Atul started his career with the TV show 'RK Laxman Ki Duniya'. He played the role of Dhondu in Rohit Shetty's film 'All the Best'. He was also seen in Emraan Hashmi starrer 'Awarapan'.
