Actor Bernard Hill, who played the role of Captain Edward Smith in the film 'Titanic', has passed away. However, the reason for Bernard's death has not been known yet.

According to BBC, the actor's agent Lou Colson confirmed that his death occurred on the morning of Sunday, May 5. His fiancee Alison was present with him in his last moments.

Hill was reportedly scheduled to attend Comic Con Liverpool on Saturday, May 4, but had to cancel at the last minute.
