Two accused who opened fire outside actor Salman Khan's house were caught. Late on Monday night, the Mumbai Crime Branch team arrested both the accused from Bhuj, Gujarat.
Firing was done in front of Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartment in Bandra at 5 am on April 14. Two attackers who came on bike fired 4 rounds. Salman was in his house when the firing took place.
After the incident, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde spoke to Salman Khan on phone and asked the Mumbai Police Commissioner to increase Salman's security. Security has been increased outside the actor's house. Khan had received death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi-Goldie Brar gang.

Firing took place with a 7.8 bore gun.
Mumbai Police sources said that the gun with which the firing was done was a 7.6 bore gun. Forensic experts have found a live bullet from the spot. The police have also seized a bike of the accused. The forensic team is investigating it.
Police say that both the accused may be from outside the state and their height may be 5 feet 8 inches. Police have confiscated the DVRs of all the CCTV cameras installed outside Salman's house.

On this incident, Mumbai Police Deputy Commissioner Raj Tilak Roshan said, 'This case has been registered by Mumbai Police. The crime unit is investigating it.
The forensic team has found bullet marks on the balcony. Till now two bullet marks have been found at Salman's house. One on the outer wall and the other on the balcony wall. In this case, Mumbai Police has recorded the statements of 4 watchmen of Galaxy Apartment, who were present there at the time of the incident.
Joint Commissioner Crime of Mumbai Police reached Salman's house and took information from the DCP of the local zone there. ATS team also reached the spot.
Salman lives alone on the ground floor
Salman has been living in this house with his family for the last 40 years. Salman's house is on the ground floor of the apartment. He lives alone here in a 1BHK L shaped apartment. His parents live on the first floor of the 8-storey Galaxy Apartment.

Lawrence Bishnoi had threatened Salman in March 2023
In March 2023, Salman Khan's security was increased after receiving a threat from Lawrence Bishnoi. He has received Y+ category security from the Maharashtra government.
NIA had said that Khan was on the top of the list of 10 people whom jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi had threatened to kill. The Bishnoi community is angry over the blackbuck hunting incident that took place in 1998, citing which Lawrence had threatened to kill Salman in a TV interview.

- In June 2022, when Salman's father Salim Khan, who was out for a morning walk, returned home, he received an unknown letter in which he and Salman were threatened with death. It was written in the letter – 'Salman Khan will make your condition like Moosewala.' After this, Salim Khan contacted the police with the help of his security personnel and a case was registered in this regard at Bandra police station.
- Last year, Mumbai Police had detained the person who threatened to kill Salman by calling him. The person making the threat was a 16-year-old minor. He threatened the Mumbai Police through a call and revealed his name as Rocky Bhai. Said that he is a resident of Jodhpur, Rajasthan and will kill Salman on 30th April.

- In January 2024, two unknown people tried to enter Salman Khan's farm house by breaking the fencing wire. When caught by the police, both of them declared themselves fans of Salman.
