AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan summoned by ED for the second time, re-interrogation on April 29









New Delhi, Leading News Service: ED has summoned AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan in Delhi Waqf Board case and asked him to appear again on April 29 for questioning. Amanatullah Khan, an AAP MLA from Delhi's Okhla assembly constituency, was questioned by the ED for 13 hours last week.

The ED has accused MLA Amanatullah Khan of financial misappropriation when he was the chairman of the Delhi Waqf Board. In this case, he will have to appear again for questioning on April 29. ED has asked to record his statement as per provisions of PMLA Act. Meanwhile, Amanatullah Khan was under arrest in connection with the alleged financial misappropriation that took place when he was chairman of the Waqf Board. Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court granted bail to Amanatullah on a personal bond of Rs 15,000.

Commenting on the matter, AAP leader and Delhi Minister Atishi said, “The case filed by ED against our MLA is false and the party stands by MLA Amanatullah Khan.”
