Aamir Khan threw a party when Laal Singh Chaddha flopped: Mona Singh said, 'He took the responsibility of the film's failure on himself and celebrated the team's hard work'

Aamir Khan threw a party when the film Lal Singh Chaddha flopped. This was revealed by actress Mona Singh who worked in the film. She has told that Aamir took the entire responsibility of the film's flop on his head and he also threw a party to respect the hard work of the team.

Mona talked about the flop of Laal Singh Chaddha in Siddharth Kannan's chat show. She said, 'Of course I felt bad, we shot for so many days, such a good bonding was formed, such a good film was made but we did not get that response in the theatre.'

Mona played the role of Aamir's mother in the film.

Mona further said, 'Aamir was disappointed when the film flopped but he threw a party seeing the hard work of the team. Aamir is the only actor who can throw a party even after the film flops seeing the team's efforts. I remember he said – what if the film did not work? Will we stop celebrating? He took the entire responsibility of the film's flop on himself, that's why I respect him a lot.'

Many shows of the film were cancelled after its poor performance

'Lal Singh Chaddha' was released in theaters on 11 August 2022. The film got 3,000 screens. But, after the poor performance at the box office, many shows of the film were cancelled. Apart from Aamir, the film also featured Kareena Kapoor and Mona Singh.

This film was a Hindi remake of Tom Hanks starrer Hollywood film 'Forest Gump'. Aamir made a comeback after 4 years through this film. His last film was 'Thugs of Hindustan', which was released in 2018. Made on a budget of 180 crores, this film earned 130 crores at the worldwide box office and proved to be a flop.
