Recently, Aamir Khan appeared on actress Rhea Chakraborty's podcast. During the conversation, Aamir Khan expressed his displeasure over the bad treatment meted out to Rhea after Sushant Singh Rajput's death. He said in support of Rhea that wrong information was conveyed to the people, due to which even today people consider her a villain.

Aamir Khan is supporting Rhea in the podcast, our life is like a feather, a gust of wind comes and the feather flies away. The same thing happened with you. Your life was going well, but an incident happened in your life, due to which your life turned upside down. Suddenly everyone in the whole world felt that you are a villain. How does a common man know how Rhea is. People have been told one thing, which is not true. But those people think that it is the truth and they believe it.

Aamir Khan further said, I don't want to blame people, but the media shouldn't have done so much, they did too much. They told too many lies, said too many absurd things.

After listening to Aamir, Rhea Chakraborty replied, this was also one of the reasons for starting this podcast. After that incident, I tried to give interviews many times, but I did not feel comfortable. Recently I went to a podcast of a big podcaster. He assured me to come and talk like friends, I will not treat you like a journalist, I am a podcaster. But he did even worse to me, so I did not let that podcast release. At least I know how the traditional media will do it, so I will take my guards with me. That day I decided that I have to create a safe space, where I have to talk to people.

On Riya's statement, Aamir said, even today people look at you with a wrong eye because they have been misinformed. I hope that slowly they will also understand your truth.

Further thanking Aamir, Riya said, in my healing journey, you have been the best person I have known. You showed me a documentary which you had produced yourself. I used to be very angry when all this happened. I used to think why is this drama happening only with me. Then one day you told me to sit and watch this documentary, its name is Rubaru Roshni. That documentary film is about forgiving people. Not immediately, but later I realized that one should forgive oneself and everyone.

During the conversation with Riya Chakraborty, Aamir Khan also talked about his film career and taking a break from films. Let us tell you that Aamir Khan took a break from films after the flop of Lal Singh Chaddha. During the conversation with Riya, he has told that he had decided to quit films during the Covid pandemic itself. Because now he wants to spend more and more time with his family. However, now Aamir Khan is going to make a comeback with Sitaar Zameen Par after a long break.

Genelia D'Souza will be seen in the lead role with Aamir Khan in the film Sitare Zameen Par.
