A reflection of the NDA government's plans to emerge in the President's address









New Delhi, Leading News Service: After the National Democratic Alliance government came to power, the President's address in the first session of the Parliament will give a glimpse of the upcoming welfare schemes of the government. In this session, the information about the entire budget presented by the government will be clarified. In this year's budget, income tax exemption is likely to be given to the middle class with an income of up to 5 lakhs.

The first session of the 18th Lok Sabha will begin on June 24. During the first two days of this session, newly elected MPs will be administered the oath of office and secrecy. Meanwhile, the President's address will be held on June 26. In the upcoming budget, the government will try to strengthen the economy by providing relief to the middle class and the industrial sector. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reply to the debate on the President's address in both houses.

The President's address is likely to cover issues like farmers, unemployment, economic empowerment, border security, tough action against terrorism, protection of the constitution. Sources informed that the expansion of the schemes run by the government for the general public, MNREGA and Pradhan Mantri Shetkari Kalyan Yojana are also likely to be mentioned.

In the upcoming budget, consideration is being given to further simplifying the direct tax system. In a meeting with Union Revenue Secretary Sanjay Malhotra, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) President Sanjeev Puri has suggested giving income tax relief to people with an annual income of Rs 20 lakh. Sources explained that the government is also thinking of reducing the excise duty on petrol and diesel.
