The film's producer Wasim Rizvi alias Jitendra Tyagi has been the president of Lucknow Shia Waqf Board. He has accepted Hinduism some time ago.

'An incident happened in Bangladesh on 1 October 2001. The majority community attacked a Hindu family there and then killed them. There was a 14-year-old girl in the house. The Jihadis gang-raped that girl. The scene was so horrific that it cannot be described in words. The mother thought that her daughter would die now. She cried and told those demons to kill them one by one, otherwise my daughter will die.

The words uttered by a mother will shake anyone's soul. This incident was suppressed at that time, but when Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen wrote a book on this barbarity, this matter was highlighted on a large level.

Another girl from the same family somehow manages to escape from there and takes refuge in West Bengal. However, she too has to face a lot of harassment in West Bengal. She becomes a victim of love jihad, Rohingya Muslims exploit her.

These things have been told by Wasim Rizvi alias Jitendra Tyagi. Wasim Rizvi has been the president of Lucknow Shia Waqf Board. He has accepted Hinduism some time ago. Now he is bringing a film on the condition of Hindus in West Bengal and Bangladesh, whose title is – The Diary of West Bengal. Wasim Rizvi alias Jitendra Tyagi said that he has already shown the current condition of Hindus in Bangladesh in the film. The film has been shot 6 months ago.

We asked Wasim Rizvi aka Jitendra Tyagi the reason for making a film on this sensitive issue. Does he want to show the truth through this or does he want to target a particular religion? He answered all our questions one by one. Read…

Question: Why did you think of making a film on this issue? Did you not feel that social harmony could be disturbed?
answer-
Our film is based on facts. Will you deny that the condition of Hindus in Bengal is getting worse than worse right now? Rohingya Muslims are spreading violence there. The government there is providing them identity cards to remain in power. It is providing them legal citizenship so that they keep voting for a particular party. These people who have come from outside are now spreading in every corner of the country, which is a danger signal for national security.

Question: The timing of the release of this film can be questioned. What is happening in Bangladesh at this time is not hidden from anyone.
answer-
Our film has been made 6 months ago. The riots in Bangladesh started just a month ago. Yes, one thing is for sure that whatever we have shown in the film is happening in Bangladesh these days.

Hindus have always been victims in Bangladesh, which the whole world can see openly today. As soon as Sheikh Hasina left the country, the fundamentalist forces there have made life difficult for Hindus. Their houses are being looted, temples are being destroyed. There are also reports of sexual violence against women.

Question- Have you also talked about love jihad in your film?
answer-
Is there any doubt that ideologies like love jihad and Ghazwa-e-Hind are a threat to our country? Just killing people is not terrorism. People who carry out love jihad are ideological terrorists. They first brainwash non-Muslim girls and then marry them and convert them to Islam. This is what our film talks about.

Question- There is a scene of a madrasa in the trailer of the film, during the making of a bomb, the entire madrasa accidentally gets blown up. What is the meaning of having such scenes?
answer-
We have not shown it ourselves. We have told earlier that this is a film based on true events. Bomb making training was given in a madrasa in Murshidabad, West Bengal. One day there was a blast there by mistake. The entire madrasa was blown up. Investigation revealed that a Bangladeshi teacher was training boys to make bombs there. When we hear such cases, a question mark is raised on all madrasas.

Question: Do you think that people with terrorist ideology actually believe in any religion?
answer-
This is strange. These people are creating terror in the whole world in the name of religion. These people create chaos by bringing religion to the forefront. You tell me yourself, why are the bodies of terrorists buried and not cremated? Why is only 'Fatiha' recited on their death? These people are the ones who are defaming their religion.

Question: Your opponents call you anti-Muslim. Do you intentionally speak against Muslims?
answer-
All these things are said just to suppress my point of view. Does anyone have a counter to what I say? Is it not true that today the Hindus of Bengal are forced to migrate from there? I have shown this fact in my film as well.

I never speak against an honest Muslim. I have to speak against those who are fundamentalists. These fundamentalists not only harm others but also the Muslims themselves.

Question: What you are trying to say, is the central government or the intelligence agency not aware of it, then why don't they take action?
answer-
The central government and the intelligence agencies are well aware of this. However, now the military cannot take action. The action is being taken slowly, but the links of the jihadis are so strong that they are not caught easily. They lure more people in the name of religion and recruit them again than the number of people caught. If one dies, 10 are born.

Question: Have you been funded by any party to make such a film?
answer-
If funding had been done, would I not have brought big stars in my film? We have made this film by saving every penny. We did not take any help from anyone. Cinema shows the mirror to the society. People come out of the theatre laughing, I want people to cry after watching this film.

Question: Are you not worried about your life? A fatwa has been issued against you for making this film.
answer-
My life is for a purpose. The fear vanished from my heart the day I did not even get a scratch in a helicopter crash. Dawood Ibrahim had sent henchmen to kill me, who were caught by the Crime Branch Delhi team. I am not afraid of death. We all should be afraid of life and not death. Death is inevitable, it will come one day. As far as the fatwa is concerned, I do not take these maulanas seriously.

Question- The film can be banned in Bengal, a case can also be filed against you. Are you ready for this?
answer-
It should not be banned because we have shown the truth through the film. I have even sent an invitation to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to watch the film. We want her to come and watch the film so that her eyes are opened. We want her to come out of the AC room and understand the pain and suffering of the persecuted Hindus of Bengal.

Now a conversation with the lead actors of the film Yajur and Arshin…

Question: Did you both not feel scared while doing this film?
arshin– Initially, I did not even tell my family that I was going to work in such a film. When my parents came to know about it, they became a little nervous. Many family members even scolded me. When I heard the story, I did not feel at all that this film was against any religion. I also feel that I cannot keep everyone happy.

Yajur- An actor should focus on the script and his role. I found the story of the film quite realistic. Since this is my first film, I got a chance to showcase my talent through it.

What difficulties did you face while shooting the film?
arshin- We had to go to Bengal for shooting. We had to keep a low profile there so that no one would know that we were shooting a film. On top of that, we also had cameras etc. with us, which we had to keep hidden. We used to stay in small hotels so that no one would suspect anything. We used to go for shooting in forests where even the vanity van could not go. We had to freshen up in the forests itself.
