Rajkumar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor and Pankaj Tripathi starrer film Stree-2 has been released. The length of this horror comedy genre film is 2 hours 29 minutes. Dainik Bhaskar has given the film a rating of 3.5 stars out of 5.

What is the story of the film?
The story begins from the same Chanderi village where the first part ended. This time, girls disappear one by one in the village. A ghost with a severed head traps the girls of the village one by one.

This time Stree (Shraddha Kapoor) takes the responsibility of saving them, for this she makes Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) her partner. Vicky is assisted by his friends Bittu (Aparshakti Khurana), Jana (Abhishek Banerjee) and Rudra (Pankaj Tripathi). Now whether the four friends together are able to defeat Sirkata or not, the story is based on this till the end.

How is the acting of the star cast?
The trio of Rajkumar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor and Pankaj Tripathi have entertained the audience a lot with their acting. Especially the comic timing of Rajkumar Rao and Pankaj Tripathi is superb. Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee have also tickled the audience a lot.

Akshay Kumar has a surprise cameo in the film, which may surprise you. It was a great experience to see him suddenly on screen. Varun Dhawan was also seen fighting with Sirkata in some scenes as a 'wolf'. Tamannaah Bhatia also has a small but impressive role.

The first part of the film was released in 2018.

How is the direction?
Director Amar Kaushik has put in all his efforts to make the film entertaining. The film has a strong dose of comedy and horror from start to finish. The dialogues are also quite funny. The visual and sound effects are simply amazing.

The first half has been made so great that the second half seems average in comparison. The climax seems a bit weak in comparison to the way the story progresses from beginning to end.

Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films have started their own horror universe. A glimpse of it can be seen in this film. Maddock's previous films Munjya and Bhediya are mentioned in it, and later Akshay Kumar will also join this universe.

How is the music?
Music is also one of the strongest aspects of the film. The songs have already become chartbusters, but they sound even better when heard in the theatre. The music of the film is good but the BGM (background music) could have been a little better. There is too much noise in the name of BGM.

Final Verdict, Watch or Not?
Barring a few shortcomings, the film is overall well made. Comedy, humour, music and horror scenes are all right in their place in the film. This film can prove to be a good treat for this long holiday weekend. You can easily watch it with your family as well. According to me, this film is definitely a one time watch.
