Ajay Devgan's film 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha' which released this Friday proved to be a huge flop at the box office. After a poor collection on the opening day, the film's business grew but it could not cross the 10 crore mark even in the first weekend.
On Sunday, the film did business of only Rs 2 crore 75 lakhs and its occupancy was 13.42%.
'Uljh' earned only 2 crores on Sunday
A similar situation was seen with Janhvi Kapoor starrer 'Uljh' which was released this week. This film could not even do a business of 5 crores in the first weekend. If we look at the overall box office collection report, both these films proved to be flops.
Uljha earned only Rs 2 crore on Sunday. However, its occupancy was 23.26%.
The box office collection of Hindi films has not been good for some time now. If we look at it, many films starring big stars have flopped at the box office in the months of May, June and July.
'Deadpool and Wolverine' crossed 100 crores in 10 days
Apart from these two films, the Hollywood film 'Deadpool and Wolverine' released last week is also making huge profits in its second weekend.
The film earned Rs 87.75 crore in the first weekend. It collected Rs 18.50 crore in the second weekend. Now it has done a total business of Rs 106.25 crore in the country in 10 days.
Talking about the worldwide collection, it has earned 824 million dollars i.e. 6 thousand 909 crores rupees so far. Marvel Universe's 34th film 'Deadpool and Wolverine' has now become the second highest grossing film of this year.
