So far 365 people have died in the landslide that occurred after heavy rains in Wayanad, Kerala on 29 July. 206 people are still missing after the accident, for which the surge operation is going on. To help the victims, South stars Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan have also contributed to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund of Kerala. They have given financial help of Rs 1 crore for the victims.

My prayers are with all the victims who are in pain.
Actor Mohanlal arrived to support the rescue team
South actor and Lieutenant Colonel Mohanlal of Kerala's 122 Territorial Army has met the army engaged in rescue operations. He has visited the areas affected by the landslide. Mohanlal, who arrived in uniform, has announced a relief amount of Rs 3 crore for the victims.

Actresses Jyothika, Karthi and Surya have given financial help of Rs 50 lakh. Rashmika Mandana has donated Rs 10 lakh. Malayalam actor Fahadh Fasil has donated Rs 25 lakh to help the victims. Giving information about this through a press release, he said, we have donated Rs 25 lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to help the landslide victims. In this difficult time, we are with the people struggling with this disaster. We will face this trouble together.

Apart from Fahad, Tamil star Vikram, who has worked in films like 'Ponniyan Selvan Part 1' and 'Raavan', has donated Rs 20 lakh. Malayalam actor Mammootty and his son Dulquer Salman have donated Rs 35 lakh to the relief fund. Talking to the press about this, Mammootty said that he has made a small contribution to the relief fund. According to media reports, Mammootty's charitable trust is also helping the victims and providing them with daily essential items. These include food items, medicines, clothes.
