Hiramandi: The Diamond Bazaar actress Sonakshi Sinha had a civil marriage with her long time boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal on June 23. After the wedding, Sonakshi Sinha shared an emotional note and expressed her gratitude to everyone. She felt that the whole world came together to unite her and Zaheer.

Sonakshi Sinha has shared her first social media post after marriage. In this, she has shared beautiful pictures of the reception and wrote, 'What a day it was. Love, laughter, togetherness, excitement and warmth from our family, friends, team. It felt as if the whole universe had come together to make what two people in love had always wanted, hoped and prayed for come true. We feel so blessed to have found each other and to be in the security of so much love.'

Sonakshi Sinha wore a red Chand Buta silk brocade Banarasi saree at the reception, the price of which is said to be around Rs 80 thousand.

Sonakshi wore a neckpiece from Karan Johar's jewellery brand Tyaani, which costs Rs 2.5 lakh. The price of her polki chandbaali is Rs 2.15 lakh.

It has led us to this moment where, with the blessings of both families and God, we are now husband and wife.'
