Hrithik Roshan's cousin Pashmina Roshan, Rohit Saraf, Jibran Khan and Nayla Grewal starrer film 'Ishq Vishk Rebound' has been released. This teenage romantic-comedy film collected 1 crore 20 lakh rupees on the first day in theaters.
This film is the spiritual sequel of 'Ishq Vishk'
The overall occupancy of this film on the opening day was 15.37%. This is the spiritual sequel of the 2003 superhit film 'Ishq Vishk' starring Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao.
It is directed by Marathi actor-director Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari. This is his first Hindi film as a director.
'Munjya's' pace is not slowing down even in the third week
On the other hand, horror-comedy 'Munjya' has earned Rs 3.31 crore on the 15th day. Its occupancy was 14.40%. With this, the total collection of the film has reached Rs 74.31 crore.
Sharvari, Abhay and Mona Singh starrer 'Munjya' has done a business of Rs 36.50 crores in the first week and Rs 34.50 crores in the second week. It is earning well in the third week as well. If it continues to earn like this on working days, it can soon cross the 100 crore mark.
The film is earning well without any star
Apart from the main cast, 'Munjya' also has an extended cameo by actor Sathyaraj who played Katappa in 'Bahubali'. It is directed by Aditya Sarpoddar.
It has been jointly produced by Amar Kaushik and Dinesh Vijan. This is the fourth film in the Maddock Supernatural Universe after 'Stree', 'Roohi' and 'Bhediya'.
