Kolkata, News Agency : The Trinamool Congress on Sunday made a dramatic announcement of all 42 candidates while calling for 'Ekla Chalo', blowing away the Congress, which is eyeing the West Bengal seat-sharing. It also announced to field candidates in Meghalaya and Uttar Pradesh. This has further widened the cracks in India's leadership. Congress has criticized Trinamool's decision; BJP has released arrows of criticism from the names of the candidates.
Trinamool leader Mamata Banerjee held a huge public meeting at Kolkata's Brigade Parade Ground on Sunday. In it, he announced that the Trinamool Congress would contest the Lok Sabha elections on its own. After that directly announced the names of 42 candidates from Bengal. Mamata Banerjee walked with all these 42 candidates on the grand ramp erected on the ground and presented these candidates to the public.

Mahua Moitra, who lost her MP in the cash for query case, has once again been given a ticket from Krishnapur constituency. Sougat Roy, Sudeep Bandopadhyay have been given tickets again. Cricketer Kirti Azad has been nominated from Bardwan Durgapur and actor Shatrughan Sinha from Asansol. Former Indian cricketer Yusuf Pathan has been nominated from Berhampur, the stronghold of Congress leader Adhiraranjan Chaudhary. TV actress Rachna Banerjee has been given a ticket from Hooghly, actress Sayani Ghosh from Jadavpur and Haji Nurul from Bashirhat.
Tickets of five candidates were cut
Five MPs have been denied tickets from the Trinamool list. The tickets of actress Mimi Chakraborty, Nusrat Jahan, Chaudhary Mohan Jatua, Arjun Singh have been cut.
