Patna : News Agency : The Economic Offenses Wing of the police had arrested 13 people in the alleged NEET-UG 2024 paper leak case. Some of these accused were demanding Rs 30 lakh each from those who wanted the paper before the NEET exam. Police have seized the post-dated checks issued in this regard as strong evidence to prove this matter. This is considered to be a major success achieved by the police in the neat paper-footage case.

These are checks made out to the gang behind the paper. They were seeking to recover Rs 30 lakh or more from each candidate who demanded the allegedly cracked papers ahead of the NEET exam held last month. Economic Offenses Wing Deputy Inspector General Manavjeet Singh Dhillo said that the checks seized by us during the investigation have released the names of those who had made the question papers available to the candidates before the examination. We are getting information about the account holders from the concerned bank, he added.
