New Delhi, Leading News Service: Justice Vikram Nath and Justice Ehsanuddin Amanullah of the Supreme Court observed on Tuesday that the irregularities have undermined the credibility of the NEET exam itself. However, the bench refused to ban NEET counselling. The court also issued a notice to the National Testing Agency (NTA), which organized the exam, asking it to provide disclosures on various allegations. Shivangi Mishra and nine other students had filed the petition on June 1, before the NEET results were declared.
Students were given wrong question papers at examination centers in Bihar and Rajasthan. Therefore, a demand has been made in this petition that the examination should be canceled and an SIT inquiry should be conducted. It was heard on Tuesday. The next hearing will be held on July 8.

Abdullah Mohammad Faiz and Dr. Sheikh Roshan has filed a separate petition on June 10. The petition alleged that grace marks were arbitrarily awarded. The petition also suspected that 67 candidates in one examination center were given almost full marks out of 720. It is also mentioned in the petition that the paper of this examination held on May 5 was torn.

About 20,000 students from various states across the country have complaints regarding NEET-UG 2024, and petitions have been filed in various courts.
Petition for Grace Mark
Tanuja, a student from Rajasthan, has also filed a petition in the Rajasthan High Court on June 8. The OMR sheet was given to her late and withdrawn early. Despite this, she has not been given grace marks as given to others for this reason, she said in the petition.
