Rajkumar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor starrer 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi', which released this Friday, has done a good collection in the first weekend. On Sunday, this film collected 5 crore 62 lakh rupees.
Earlier, it had earned 6.85 crores on Friday and 4.65 crores on Saturday. Now in three days, the collection of this film has reached 17 crores 12 lakh rupees.
This film has been jointly produced by Zee Studio and Karan Johar. The film has been directed by Sharan Sharma who has previously worked with Janhvi on 'Gunjan Saxena'.
'Saavi' earned 7.56 crores in 3 days
Apart from this, Divya Khosla Kumar's film 'Saavi', which released this Friday, earned Rs 2.76 crore on Sunday.
This film did a business of 2 crore 5 lakh rupees on the first day and 2 crore 75 lakh rupees on the second day. Thus, its total collection has reached 7.56 crores in 3 days.
Apart from Divya, Anil Kapoor and Harshvardhan Rane are also seen in important roles in this film. It is directed by 'Delhi Belly' fame director Abhinay Dev.
'Srikanth's earnings crossed 45 crores
While Rajkumar Rao's new release 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' is doing good collections, his film 'Shrikant' which was released on 10th May is doing good business in its fourth week as well.
The film earned 1 crore 37 lakh rupees on Sunday. With this, 'Srikanth' collected 4 crore 8 lakh rupees in its fourth weekend (Friday – 1.53 crores, Saturday – 1.18 crores, Sunday – 1.37 crores).
Now the total collection of this film has reached Rs 45 crore 34 lakh.
Rajkumar Rao, Jyotika and Alaya F starrer Srikant is directed by director Tushar Hiranandani. It is a biopic of industrialist Srikant Bola.
