New Delhi, Leading News Service: Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim assembly results are out before the Lok Sabha election results. In Arunachal Pradesh once again the Bharatiya Janata Party won 46 out of 60 seats while in Sikkim the ruling Krantikari Morcha won a resounding majority with 31 out of 32 seats. Congress, the main opposition party in the country, managed to win only 1 seat in Arunachal Pradesh and could not even open an account in Sikkim. NCP Ajit Pawar faction won 3 seats in Arunachal Pradesh.
The results of the seven-phase Lok Sabha elections will be announced on June 4. Earlier, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim assembly results were declared. The picture of who will be in power in both these states is clear. Once again BJP will form power in Arunachal Pradesh and again in Sikkim Sikkim Krantikari Morcha will establish power. BJP had already won 10 seats unopposed in Arunachal Pradesh. Arunachal and Sikkim assembly elections were held in a single phase on April 19.
BJP wins 46 out of 60 seats in Arunachal Pradesh
There are a total of 60 seats in the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly. This time BJP has become the largest party by securing 46 seats. In the previous assembly elections, BJP had won 42 seats in Arunachal.
SKM party wins in Sikkim, resounding victory in 31 out of 32 seats
SKM is in the NDA for Lok Sabha elections in Sikkim. But he has contested the assembly elections independently. There are a total of 32 seats in the Sikkim Legislative Assembly. SKM has won in a resounding manner by bagging 31 out of 32 seats. In the previous assembly elections, SKM won majority by winning 17 seats. The Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF), which was the main opposition party last time, got only one seat this time.
