Leader Online Desk: A massive fire broke out in a rubber factory today (May 28) in Rai Industrial Estate in Sonepat district of Haryana. A cylinder in the factory also exploded. It is reported that more than 20 workers were injured in the accident.
This factory was manufacturing rubber belts. More than half a dozen workers were trapped. Sonepat fire department and police immediately rushed to the spot and tried to control the fire.

The employees trapped in the factory have been rescued. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. As the factory contained rubber manufacturing materials, the fire engulfed the factory within moments. 16 employees have been hospitalized.
