Leaders Online Desk: Eight people died when a tourist bus caught fire in Haryana's Nuh. 24 people are injured. The accident took place on the Kundali Manesar Palwal Highway passing through the border of Tawadu subdivision on Friday (18th) night.

60 people were traveling in the bus. The accident took place when the tourists were returning from visiting Mathura and Vrindavan. A bus caught fire on Kundali Manesar Palwal highway. Local people tried to douse the fire and informed the police. After this, the fire brigade rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control with tireless efforts. In this fire, 8 people died and 24 people were injured. The victims of the accident are reported to be residents of Punjab and Chandigarh.
Saroj Punj and Poonam, who were traveling in the bus, said that they had hired a tourist bus last Friday. All had left for Banaras and Mathura Vrindavan darshan. There were 60 people in the bus, including women and children. All of them were close relatives who were residents of Ludhiana, Hoshiarpur and Chandigarh in Punjab. The bus caught fire around half past midnight while returning from Darshan on Friday night.
