The makers wrote, 'We welcome Rashmika in the film 'Sikander' opposite Salman. Can't wait to see their on-screen magic.

The makers wrote this caption while sharing a photo.

Rashmika wrote in a tweet, 'For a long time you people were asking me about my next project. Here's the surprise. Grateful to be a part of Sikandar.

Salman started shooting
Meanwhile, a photo of Salman is viral on social media. It is being told that this film is from the set of 'Sikander' and Salman has started shooting for this film. However, no official announcement has been made in this regard yet.

AR Murugadoss will be the director
Salman and Rashmika will work together for the first time in this film. It will be directed by AR Murugadoss, who directed films like 'Ghajini' and 'Holiday'. Sajid Nadiadwala will be its producer. The film will be released on Eid next year.

The makers had announced the film 'Sikander' on Eid this year.
