Sonali Bendre, one of the popular actresses of the 90s, has talked about her cancer journey. He told how cancer had shaken him and his family.
I suddenly disappeared: Sonali
In a recent interview, Sonali said, 'It was very shocking. At that time I wondered how I could get cancer. I was doing a reality show when I came to know about cancer. I used to shoot every week, suddenly all this happened and I completely disappeared. When you are a public figure and suddenly disappear and someone takes your place, many things happen.
Sonali's look had changed so much after cancer treatment.
'Initially I felt something was wrong'
When Sonali was asked in an interview how she realized that she had cancer, she said, 'I felt that something was not right with me. Then I went to the doctor and came to know. Earlier it was thought that the tumor would not be very big but when the tests were done it was found that the matter was serious. My husband Goldie Behl's face went white when he heard about the cancer. I saw the color drain from the faces of every family member. Goldie took the decision within two days and we went out of the country for treatment. I told Goldie not to rush but she told me to focus only on health and survive.

Had only 30% chance of survival
Sonali also told in the interview that while battling cancer, the doctor told her that she had only 30% chance of survival.
Sonali said – 'When the doctor told me this, I asked him how can you say this. Today I feel that he was just doing his job and telling me the truth which I did not want to believe.
Sonali was diagnosed with cancer in 2018
Sonali was diagnosed with cancer in July 2018 and she went to New York for treatment. She stayed there for about 6 months. Sonali became cancer free after treatment. Sonali started her career in 1994 with the film 'Naaraz'.
