New Delhi, News Agency: A ship bound for India was attacked by a missile in the Red Sea on Saturday. Yemen's Houthi rebels have taken responsibility for this. The name of the ship is Andromeda Star. This ship was carrying oil to India. The captain of the ship has given information about this, and it was said that the ship did not suffer much damage due to the attack. The ship belonged to Britain and was flying the flags of Tigua and Barbados. The ship is moving forward under attack. The ship has left from Primorsk in Russia and is going to reach Vadinar port in Gujarat.
A ship approaching India has been attacked twice. Meanwhile, Houthi rebels fired several missiles at the ship. But, instead of hitting the ship, the missiles that were fired fell into the sea. In the second attack, however, the ship was said to have sustained minor damage. After a long period of peace in the Red Ocean, there is a sudden attack. Earlier, a ship coming to India was seized due to Israel's conflict with Iran. Iran claimed that the ship had entered our maritime territory without any permission.
US drones were also targeted
Houthi rebels not only attacked a ship approaching India, but also an American MQ-9 drone. About 12 to 30 percent of world trade passes through the Suez Canal in the Red Ocean every year. However, attacks by Houthi rebels are affecting trade between Europe and Asia on this route.
