As of Sunday afternoon, rescuers have recovered at least 11 bodies in Makale village and three in South Makale. The search is still on for three others, including a 3-year-old girl, said Abdul Muhari, a spokesman for the National Disaster Management Agency. Collapsed communication lines, bad weather and unstable soil were hampering rescue operations, Muhari said.
