Jawaharlal Nehru University: Jawaharlal Nehru University ranks 20th in the world university ranking leader


Prashant Tigers; New Delhi : Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi has been ranked 20th in the prestigious ranking worldwide. Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a renowned London-based higher education analytics firm, has released a ranking of the world's most prestigious universities. It includes the only university in India among the top 20 universities. On this occasion, Jawaharlal Nehru University has once again made a mark for India at the global level.

Jawaharlal Nehru University has further strengthened India's image for quality education by winning the top spot globally in the subject of 'Development Studies'. Jawaharlal Nehru University secured 20th position in the QS category with 81.3 marks in various levels of examination. Meanwhile, the University of Sussex, University of Oxford, SoC University, London School of Economics and Political Science and University of Cambridge made the top five in the Development Studies category.

Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) is a leading global higher education services and analysis organization, with a mission to enable motivated people worldwide to fulfill their potential through academic achievement, international mobility and career development. According to the World University Rankings released by QS, Savitha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences in Chennai has also been ranked twenty-fourth globally for Dentistry. While the prestigious Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) in Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Kolkata have ranked in the top 50 globally for business and management studies. According to QS, this year's edition of the QS World University Rankings has a total of 55 subjects across five broad subject areas. Meanwhile, 1559 institutes have been ranked according to their subjects this year.

While reacting to this ranking of Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi, Chevening Scholar Adv. If Indian universities are built according to global standards, many foreign students will come to India for higher education in the future. Today many students go abroad for higher education. If the university in India becomes global, the students of the country will also benefit from it.”
