NDA strong in UP, opposition alliance collapses | leader

– Sunil eyes

For the Lok Sabha elections, the first eight seats in Uttar Pradesh are going to polls on April 19, and all the parties in the BJP and the NDA have started campaigning. Compared to that, Samsoom is seen on the opposition front. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a huge public meeting in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh on March 31. Interestingly, the meeting was attended by the Muslim community. Later, Modi's meeting is also organized in Saharanpur and Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Rashtriya Lok Dal chief Jayant Singh held a campaign meeting in Muzaffarnagar. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath along with Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brijesh Pathak have also planned to hold district wise public meetings. What stands out in this is the silent silence of the anti-India alliance.

This time Samajwadi Party led by Akhilesh Yadav has joined hands with Congress. Samajwadi Party is contesting maximum 63 seats while Congress has 7 seats. Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party has adopted the policy of 'Ekla Chalo Re'. Even if the election is approaching, the Samajwadi Party is not ready to agree on the candidates. Due to this, Akhilesh's headache has increased. He has not yet held a single campaign meeting. The party has released a list of star campaigners and ironically, Azam Khan, who is currently in jail, has also been included in the list. Congress has nothing to lose in this election. Their star campaigners are Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi-Vadhera. There is no clarity about when these two meetings will be held in Uttar Pradesh. Local Congress leaders are unaware of other star campaigners. Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav will hold a campaign meeting together, only when the opposition alliance will create a campaign atmosphere. Public campaigning for the first phase will end on April 17 at 5 pm. In this phase, voting is taking place in the constituencies of Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Bijnor, Nagina, Moradabad, Rampur and Pilibhit. That means there is little time left for campaigning.

The Bahujan Samaj Party has decided to start campaigning after the Eid festival is over. Mayawati has announced nephew Akash Anand as her successor. Both of them are going to enter the campaign field from April 14. BSP's campaign meetings will be held in Bijnor and Saharanpur. That means, by the time the opposition leaders start campaigning, BJP will have conveyed its side to the people. This is the fundamental difference between the opposition parties and the BJP. It has come to the fore in Uttar Pradesh.

BJP's planned campaign

The BJP has taken on Jayant Chaudhary's Rashtriya Lok Dal along with Apna Dal and other smaller parties. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has resolved to win more than seventy seats this time. They themselves are in caste contact with the common workers working up to the booth level. Knowing the minute details from them and guiding them accordingly. It is said that the route to power in Delhi goes through Uttar Pradesh. The reason for this is that Uttar Pradesh has 80 Lok Sabha seats. According to a survey conducted by some organizations before the elections, there is a possible increase of 2.13 percent votes for the BJP this time compared to the last time. Congress has become the most pathetic state in this. In 2019, Congress got 6.36 percent votes. This year this percentage may decrease further. Similarly, Samajwadi Party got 18.11 percent votes in the last election. This time there are indications of another 10 to 12 percent increase. Like the Congress, the BSP's votes may decline. Last time, BSP got 19.4 percent votes. This time it may come down to 8.4 percent. BJP had won 62 out of 80 seats with 50 percent votes last time.

Important equation of reserved seats

The last two general elections show that a different equation has been formed in this state. That is, the party which won the majority of reserved seats formed the government at the centre. BJP succeeded in this in the last two elections. The SP and BSP won the reserved seats in the previous elections, when the UPA government was formed at the Centre. Before the creation of Uttarakhand, 18 seats were reserved in the united Uttar Pradesh. After the creation of Uttarakhand, one of its seats was reduced. This means that the support of BJP under the magical leadership of Modi is increasing rapidly even among the backward classes.

Shri Ram Temple, Rapid Economic Progress

The BJP has centered around the main issues of rapid economic development of the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the establishment of Shri Ram Temple, India's elevated position globally, welfare schemes implemented for various sections of the society, empowerment of women, elimination of hooliganism from Uttar Pradesh, increasing flow of foreign investment in the state. The campaign is focused. In contrast, the opposition has not yet started campaigning.
