Use of Netaji to compete with Nehru and Congress
On Kangana's statement, Subhash Chandra Bose's great-grandson and former BJP leader Chandra Kumar Bose said in his post, “No one should distort history. There is an attempt to manipulate Bose's legacy for political gain. Nehru was the first Prime Minister of India after the partition of Bengal and Punjab. This is history. No one can change this. Netaji is being used to compete with Nehru and Congress, which is highly offensive. Chandra Bose also said, “Though Netaji and Nehru had differences, they respected each other. Had it not been so, Netaji would not have named the brigade of Azad Hind Fauj after Nehru and Gandhi, he has also clarified.
