Anupam Kher narrated an anecdote related to his love life in his podcast show 'Anupam Cares'. He told that once he had gone on a date with his girlfriend. His girlfriend's name was Radha. Three girls were sitting at the table in front of him. Who were laughing a lot while talking among themselves.
The actor told that his girlfriend thought that one of those girls was Anupam's girlfriend. Radha stood up angrily and gestured to Anupam that which one of them was your girlfriend.
Anupam was surprised after hearing Radha's question. He asked Radha not to talk like this. But she was not ready to listen. Anupam told that the atmosphere had become very bad at that time. Radha's anger increased and she picked up all the food kept on the table and threw it on Anupam. Noodles were hanging over his head. The entire shirt was ruined by the vegetable. Since that day he never met or talked to Radha.
Married Anupam fell in love with Kiran Kher, married and named his son
During the days of struggle, Anupam Kher again met Kiran Kher, who was struggling to make a place in films. Meanwhile, both of them got work together in Nadira Babbar's play Chandpari Ki Champabai. Both of them had gone to Kolkata to play, where Anupam proposed marriage to Kiran.
Kiran immediately agreed and both of them got divorced and got married in 1985. Anupam also adopted Kirron Kher's son Sikandar and gave him his surname. Kiran and Anupam do not have any children of their own.
Anupam Kher started his film career with the 1982 film 'Aagaman', but the actor got recognition with the 1984 film 'Saaransh'. In his career spanning 37 years, he has worked in more than 450 films.
