Lok Sabha Elections: BJP Announces 195 Candidates, Know List Highlights | leader


Leader Online Desk : Bharatiya Janata Party today (March 2) announced the first list for the Lok Sabha elections. Candidates from 16 states and two Union Territories have been identified in this list of 195 names. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will contest from Varanasi while Union Home Minister Amit Shah will contest from Gandhinagar. 34 Union and State Ministers are also named in this list. Apart from this, late Sushma Swaraj's daughter has also been nominated for Lok Sabha. (BJP releases first list of 195 candidates for Lok Sabha elections)

Uttar Pradesh (51), West Bengal (26), Madhya Pradesh (24), Gujarat (15), Rajasthan (15), Kerala (12), Telangana (9), Assam (11), Jharkhand (11), Chhattisgarh ( 11), Delhi (11), Jammu and Kashmir (5), Uttarakhand (3) Arunachal, Goa, Tripura, Andaman-Nicobar and one each from Daman and Diu.
