Leaders Online: Ain Lagnasarai gold price continues to rise and today on Wednesday the gold price reached an all-time high. Pure gold opened at Rs 65,795 per 10 grams today. Gold price closed at Rs 65,589 yesterday on Tuesday. Today the price of gold saw an increase of 208 rupees. Earlier on March 11, the price of gold had gone up to Rs 65,646 per 10 grams. According to Indian Bullion Ad Jewelers Association, pure gold ie 24 carat opened at Rs 65,795 per 10 grams, 22 carat at Rs 60,268, 18 carat at Rs 49,346 and 14 carat at Rs 38,490. Silver rate has opened at Rs 73,859 per kg.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) at 1.30 pm today, gold for April 5 delivery was trading at Rs 65,600 per 10 grams. While the price of silver for delivery on May 3 was Rs 75,120 per kg.
Chances of global recession, increased demand for wedding gold are the main reasons behind the rise in gold prices. The price of gold has increased by around Rs 3,200 in the month of March. While the price of silver is moving towards 74 thousand.
