Big news has come out from the shooting set of Rishabh Shetty's film Kantara: Chapter-1. There are reports that a bus, which was filled with crew members, met with an accident near the shooting location. 20 crew members were injured in the accident. There is also news that the shooting had to be stopped after the accident, however now the makers have issued an official statement calling it a minor accident.
A police officer who arrived at the time of the accident told PTI that the bus full of crew members was returning to Kollur after finishing the shooting in Madur, Jadkal. 20 junior artists were present in the mini bus when the accident occurred. The injured have been admitted to hospitals in Jadkal and Kundarpur. According to the report of News 18, 6 crew members have suffered serious injuries in the accident, who have been admitted to Jadkal Mahalaxmi Hospital.
The makers clarified that it was a minor accident.
On one hand, there are reports that the shooting of Kantara: Chapter 1 has been stopped. A minor accident took place 20 kilometers away from the shooting location, in which some members of the Kantara team were present in a local bus, but no one was injured in the accident.
