Citadel: Samantha had fainted on the sets of Honey Bunny: Varun Dhawan was worried due to the medical condition of the actress, said- she used to use oxygen tank.

The series Citadel: Honey Bunny has been released on Amazon Prime on 6 November. Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruthaprabhu are in lead roles in the series. Recently Varun Dhawan has told that Samantha's health was deteriorating during the shooting of the series. Once she even fainted on the set, due to which the actor was very worried.

During the shooting of the series, Samantha came to know that she has a rare disease called Myositis. After this she wanted to leave the series. Recently, in an interview given to The Hollywood Reporter, Samantha said that if the makers of the series had not supported her and encouraged her, it would have taken a long time for her to appear in front of the camera again.

On this Varun Dhawan said, I want to add to this, two such incidents happened on the set which literally broke my heart. I was very worried. I remember one day we were shooting, he didn't tell me much about his condition. She just had her eyes closed and then after 2 hours oxygen tanks arrived on the set. She was taking oxygen in the corner. She could have taken leave that day, but she was still taking oxygen on the set.

The actor further said, the second incident was that we were shooting in the railway station. She was coming running after me. We had to cross the camera. I reached the camera and Samantha fell there.

Varun Dhawan has told that he got upset and was screaming when Samantha became unconscious. Meanwhile the team unit came and took care of him.

Samantha has been struggling with myositis for 2 years

Let us tell you that in the year 2022, Samantha had shared a post saying that she has a rare disease called Myositis. After being diagnosed with myositis, Samantha took a break from films. Doctors had also suggested him to stay away from public places. This is a kind of auto-immune disease in which the muscles of the body gradually become weak. In this condition, difficulty in walking and standing increases.
