What's new in The Sabarmati Report? Ekta Kapoor said, 'The Sabarmati Report is a film based on an incident which earlier people had called an accident. Godhra incident has been mentioned in many films, but very little has been mentioned about the burning of Sabarmati train. This was a big moment for our country. Just like 9/11 happened in America and everyone knew about it, similarly Sabarmati train burnt in India, but till date it is not clear what actually happened there. Therefore this film is very important for all of us Indians.
