Before becoming an actor, Aparshakti Khurana wanted to become a star cricketer in the Indian team. He told that one day after a practice session at the cricket academy, his father took him home after beating him with a bat. The reason was that he had disrespected his coach.
In an interview given to Shubhankar Mishra, Aparshakti said that when his coach asked him to recruit some senior players for the team, he became insecure about his captaincy. On hearing this, Aparshakti's father became furious. He took Apar from the academy to his home, beating him with a bat.
