Annu Kapoor recently appeared in the film Chak De! Talked about India. He said that actually this film was based on a Hindu coach. But the makers deliberately named this character Qarib Khan to make a Muslim look good.

While talking to ANI, Annu Kapoor said, 'Ek film Chak De! India Aayi, in which the story of a coach was shown. Shahrukh Khan became the coach in the film and his name was Kabir Khan. But in reality, the story of this film was based on a Hindu coach, whose name is Mir Ranjan Negi. The filmmaker deliberately changed this character.

Annu Kapoor further said, 'In India, there is always an attempt to make the character of a Muslim look good and make fun of a Pandit (Hindu priest). After this, the ideas of Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb (Hindu-Muslim unity) are again talked about.

Tell me, 'Chak de! India film was released in the year 2007. The film was directed by Shimit Amin. In the film, Shahrukh Khan was seen in the role of Kabir Khan, who is a former Indian male hockey player.
