Born in Switzerland in 1986, Kristina Joksimovic belonged to a wealthy family. She was interested in the glamour world since childhood. After this, she started getting more modeling projects in Switzerland. At the age of 21, Kristina participated in Miss Switzerland, in which she was a finalist. That year Amanda Ammann won the title of Miss Switzerland.
After this, Christina became a well-known name in the modeling world. She was working as a model and catwalk training coach. Christina married Thomas in 2017, after which she gave birth to her first daughter in 2020 and second daughter in 2021.
After announcing the marriage, Christina wrote in the caption for her husband – I love you more than yesterday, less than tomorrow.
Christina often posted beautiful pictures of her modeling world and family on social media. In August 2023, she posted a picture in which she called her family her world.

Christina lived with her family in the posh area of Binningin near Basel in Switzerland. It was a normal day for everyone. Like every day, Christina got her two children ready and dropped them to the kindergarten. Christina was also responsible for picking up the children from the kindergarten. When Christina did not reach the school in the afternoon to pick up the children, the staff members called her number. That number was switched off, so the school management called Christina's parents and informed them about this and asked them to pick up the children.
Christina's elder daughter is 4 and younger daughter is 3 years old.
When the family members called Christina's husband Thomas out of concern, they got the reply that she had left for school some time ago. When Christina did not reach school even after several hours, her father reached the school and picked up the children.
He went straight to Christina's house in Biningin with the children. Thomas was present at home at that time. Christina's father kept questioning Thomas about his absence, but he kept saying that he had no knowledge of it.
Seeing Christina's father upset at home, Thomas asked him to have dinner with him, to which he agreed. Christina's father left home for a few hours to pick up her mother and then returned.
Thomas prepared dinner for everyone and they all had drinks together. Even during dinner, Christina's father kept worrying about her. He kept calling her number again and again, but the phone was constantly switched off.
At the dinner table, Christina's father said he wanted to file a missing person report, but Thomas said he should wait 24 hours. After dinner, Christina's father sat worriedly in the living area while Thomas fed the children and put them to sleep.

After sitting for a while, Christina's father got up and started walking around the house trying to figure out where she might have gone. After checking everywhere, he reached the laundry room in the basement, where he noticed a black plastic bag. Some strands of blonde hair were visible from that bag.
His daughter Christina also had hair of the same type. When he went closer in panic and opened the bag, he found Christina's severed head in it.
He was horrified to see this scene. The daughter he was looking for since morning had been brutally murdered and her head was in front of his eyes. He immediately ran from the basement to the garage. He opened the garage door and went to the road and started screaming loudly for help.
A car stopped near him and he immediately asked to call the police. He returned home and started shouting at Thomas in anger. During this time Thomas kept saying that he had no knowledge about this.
The police arrived within minutes and Thomas was arrested.

As soon as the police started searching the house, everyone was shocked to see the scene. Christina was murdered in that very house. During the investigation, blood stains were found in the washing area of the basement. When a detailed investigation was done with the help of the forensic team, many pieces of Christina's body were found. Not only this, ground meat was also found in a vessel kept in the washing area. The meat was ground so finely that the police thought it was ordinary meat, however the forensic team clarified that it was not animal meat but human meat.
Some of the vessels had the meat mixed with an acidic chemical, possibly to mask the smell. When the ground meat and other body parts were matched to Christina's dental records and family DNA, the pieces and the ground meat were proven to be Christina's.
During the arrest, Thomas kept pretending that he had nothing to do with all this. However, when questioned, Thomas said that when he returned home in the afternoon, Christina was dead in the house. He was scared that he might be accused of murder, so he cut the body into pieces and then ground them.
According to a report by UK media outlet ABC, during the investigation, the medical team found that Thomas's mental condition was not good. He was mentally ill and was saying strange things.
According to the postmortem report, Christina died due to strangulation. She was stabbed multiple times after death, after which she was cut with the help of a kitchen knife and a garden cutter. A hand grinder was used to grind the pieces.

Thomas was interrogated strictly. This time Thomas confessed to the crime, but then he told a new story. According to Thomas, on 13 February, Christina attacked him with a sharp weapon during an argument. Christina wanted to kill him, but in self-defense, Thomas killed her. When the police investigated this angle after recording the statement, this story proved to be false. There were no such marks on Thomas's body that could prove that Christina had attacked him.
After the police's pressure, Thomas finally confessed to killing Christina. In his final statement, he said that he had a fight with Christina on the intervening night of 12-13 February. During the fight, he lost his temper and strangled Christina. When Christina died, he got scared. To dispose of the body, he first kept the body in the washing area of the house and cut it into several pieces using a garden cutter and a kitchen knife.
He collected all the meat and started grinding the pieces one by one in a grinder. After grinding the pieces, he put them in a large vessel and added acid to it to destroy them. This dissolved the pieces completely in the chemical.
According to the Daily Mail report, Thomas first pulled out Christina's intestines from her body. During this time, he was watching videos on YouTube on his mobile phone for entertainment. The reason for the fight between the two has not been revealed yet.
The trial is going on since Thomas confessed his crime. He has appealed for bail in the court, however, considering the method of murder and his mental condition, the court has not granted him bail.
After Christina's death, the custody of her children is with her parents.
During the investigation, it was revealed that there was a rift between Christina and Thomas for the past several months. In July last year, Christina had called the Locus police and complained of physical violence. A friend of Christina, without revealing her identity, told the Swiss media that she wanted to separate from her husband, but she was afraid of Thomas's angry behavior.
During investigation, the police found that Thomas was a violent person and had even beaten up his former girlfriend before Christina.
