Kangana Ranaut has suffered a lot of financial loss due to the delay in the release of the film Emergency. This is the reason why she had to sell her bungalow in Mumbai recently. Kangana herself revealed this in an interview.
In an interview to News 18, Kangana said, my film was about to release so I had invested my personal savings in it. Now what would I have done if it could not release. Property comes in handy in such times, so I had to take the decision of selling the bungalow.
Kangana bought this bungalow in the year 2017 for Rs 20 crores.
The Mumbai bungalow that Kangana has sold, she used as the office of her production house Manikarnika Films. She has sold it to Shweta Bathija of Coimbatore for Rs 32 crores. She has made a profit of Rs 12 crores by selling it. This property was in a posh area like Pali Hill, Bandra in Mumbai. Kangana had bought it in 2017 for Rs 20 crores.
In September 2020, BMC demolished Kangana's bungalow on the grounds of unauthorized construction.

This is the same property of Kangana located in Pali Hill which was damaged by BMC in September 2020. Then her bungalow was demolished on the basis of unauthorized construction.
Apart from Kangana, actors like Shreyas Talpade and Anupam Kher will be seen in 'Emergency'.
'Emergency' gets U/A certificate
On the work front, Kangana's film 'Emergency' has got the censor certificate after some changes. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given the film a U/A certificate. The CBFC had objected to many scenes of this film. Now this film will be released in a few weeks after many cuts and changes. Earlier it was scheduled to release on 6 September 2024.
