After getting an opening of Rs 15 crore 21 lakh on the first day, Ajay Devgan's film 'Shaitan' made huge earnings on the second day also.
With a growth of 26%, the film collected Rs 19 crore 18 lakh on Saturday. With this, the film has earned Rs 34 crore 39 lakh in two days.
Ajay's fifth best opening film
Earlier, after earning Rs 15 crore 21 lakh on the opening day, 'Shaitan' became the fifth highest grossing film of Ajay's career. Ajay and Kareena starrer 'Singham Returns' is at the top of this list. Ajay's film got an opening of Rs 32.09 crore.
'Shaitan' has been directed by Vikas Bahl in which South actress Jyotika is also seen in an important role. Gujarati actress Janaki Bodiwala has made her Bollywood debut with the film.
'Missing Ladies' earned Rs 7.86 crore in 9 days
On its second Saturday, 'Missing Ladies' collected Rs 88 lakh. With this the film has earned Rs 7 crore 86 lakh at the Indian box office.
On Saturday, the three lead actors from the film's star cast, Sparsh Srivastava, Pratibha Ranta and Nitanshi Goyal reached a theater in Mumbai. Here the audience praised his film a lot.
'Article 370' earned Rs 2.75 crore on 16th day
Yami Gautam starrer 'Article 370' did a business of Rs 2 crore 75 lakh on the 16th day i.e. third Saturday. It earned Rs 35 crore 60 lakh in the first weekend and Rs 22 crore 30 lakh in the second weekend. With this, the film has collected a total of Rs 62 crore so far.
