100% jump in earnings of 'Maidan' on Saturday: Worldwide collection of 23.10 crores, BMCM did business of 76 crores in three days

On Saturday, Ajay Devgan starrer 'Maidan' earned Rs 5 crore 65 lakh at the Indian box office. With this, the Indian box office collection of the film has reached Rs 15 crore 7 lakh. Worldwide, this film has earned Rs 23.10 crore in 3 days.

Earlier, the film had earned Rs 7 crore 25 lakh on the first day at the Indian box office. This also included paid previews. On the second day it had collected Rs 2 crore 80 lakh.

If seen accordingly, the collection of 'Maidan' on Saturday has achieved 100% jump at the Indian box office.

Ajay Devgan starrer, this film has been directed by 'Badhaai Ho' fame director Amit Sharma.

Getting good audience in Mumbai-Pune
The overall Hindi occupancy of the film on Saturday was 19.65%. It got the highest occupancy of 25.50% from 611 shows in Mumbai. Whereas in Pune it achieved 24.50% occupancy from 252 shows.

BMCM earned Rs 8.50 crore in the country on the third day
On the other hand, the collection of Akshay-Tiger starrer 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan' has also seen a jump of 11% on the third day. The film earned Rs 15 crore 50 lakh on the first day and Rs 7 crore 60 lakh on the second day.

Now on the third day it did a business of Rs 8 crore 50 lakh in the country. With this, the total domestic collection of the film has become Rs 31 crore 75 lakh.

Apart from Akshay and Tiger, Manushi Chillar and Alaya F are also seen in the film.

Highest occupancy from 32 shows in Chennai
The Hindi occupancy of the film on Saturday was 18.27%. The film got the highest occupancy of 27.75% through 32 shows in Chennai. Whereas in Jaipur it got an occupancy of 23.50% through 85 shows.

In terms of total worldwide collection, the film has crossed the figure of Rs 76 crore in 3 days.
